Soulwax (2 many DJs) in Seoul Baby!

The brothers from Belgium will be bringing their best to Seoul on January 29th, 2010 at Mellon Ax Hall. I'm having the damnedest of time retrieving a map, but I did however manage to track down an address to the spot:

Exit No.2, Gwangnaru Station on Subway Line No. 5Exit No.2, Gwangnaru Station on Subway Line No. 5

For those who are confused like myself, Soulwax and 2 many DJs are the same entity. They have just released albums under different handles. However, there are two additional members within Soulwax, so to correct myself, Soulwax is an expansion of 2 many DJs, so I guess they are not the same entity as I had previously stated. Dammit I'm confused.

Anyways, Soulwax has a slew of wonderful remixes out for your pleasure. Here's a few for your enjoyment, and I may even throw in a live set. See you at the show!

Some Damn Good Street Meat!

I just recently had the pleasure of sampling some of the wonderful street foods Korea has to offer. If you really want get a feel for a culture, it is always advisable to do it at the street level, especially concerning food! I don't know what half of this stuff is called, but if I had to name it something, I guess "palatable" would be appropriate?

Steve Aoki in Brisbane Australia 2009. It's gonna be a ridiculous night in Seoul:

Other people showing up to keep things moving:

Steve Aoki's homie; I'm not sure exactly what he does besides taking pictures with hot babes and sporting a ridiculous mustache.

Pete Rock (N.Y.C.,U.S.A)

Hip Hop legend, pioneer, and stuff. Check the vid, big chune!:

Risque Rhythm Machine (South Korea)

Don't know much about these guys except for two things: i.) They are Koreans, and ii.) They seem to really like playing electro. They are good in my books.

Also featuring:

Mademoiselle Yulia (Tokyo, Japan), Starsheeps (Korea), DJ Murf (Seoul, Korea), DJ Miryo (Korea), DJ Conan (Seoul, Korea)

Seoul NYE: Ed Banger's Busy P

Uhhh...flyer?

Busy P doin' his thang.

Busy P is invading Seoul for one night only! Catch the French electro heavyweight at Mansion (previously Museum) in Hongdae for New Year's Eve. It's going to be live. It'll cost ya w50,000 before December 29th, or w60,000 at the door, but it's well worth it. If you don't believe me, just check some of his gigs. Here, I'll save you the trouble. See below:

Unfortunately, I can't locate Mansion's official site, nor verify if they even have one, but I did manage to track down their Facebook page. Also, here is a map to the club, but it is only in Korean. Sorry!

Besides Busy P there will be a slew of acts, KINGmck (Japan), EE (Korea), DJ Tama a.k.a. SPC (Japan), and UJN+NOVA (Korea):

KingMCK on the left.

EE. I'm very curious about her.

DJ Tama claims to be Sapporo City's finest, but we all know that honour belongs to the beer.
